Khabib chokes opponent unconscious to retain UFC lightweight crown, retires

Khabib Nurmagomedov choked Justin Gaethje unconscious in second round to successfully defend his UFC lightweight title at UFC 254 in Abu Dhabi. Following his victory, Khabib announced his retirement from mixed martial arts. The fight was his first since the death of his father and lifelong coach in July. Khabib won all the 29 fights of his MMA career.
