Khaleda Zia got married at 15, had made primary schooling free

Ex-Bangladesh PM Khaleda Zia, who passed away on Tuesday, got married to Ziaur Rahman at the age of 15. Khaleda, who became the country's first female PM in 1991, restored parliamentary system, made primary schooling free and mandatory and worked to improve access to education for girls. Notably, Khaleda became PM after the end of military rule.
