Kharge slams BJP over SIR, Jantar Mantar protest curbs

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge accused BJP of authoritarianism over the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls and removal of Jantar Mantar as a designated protest site. Three CJP activists were remanded to judicial custody after allegedly entering the denotified site. Rahul Gandhi and AAP leaders also condemned the arrests, calling them acts of cowardice.
