Kidambi Srikanth advances to Hong Kong Open semi-finals

Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth on Friday entered the semi-finals of the Hong Kong Open after his opponent conceded the quarter-finals owing to an injury. The fifth-seeded Chen Long of China lost the first game 13-21 to unseeded Srikanth before conceding the game. Notably, it was Srikanth's second career win over Long, who still leads 6-2 in the head-to-head record.
