Mumbai Indians (MI) have appointed ex-West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard as their new head coach ahead of IPL 2027, replacing Mahela Jayawardene. Pollard, who joined MI in 2010 as a player, was serving as MI batting coach after retiring from IPL in 2022. The 39-year-old won five IPL titles with MI as a player.
