Kilauea volcano erupts in Hawaii, video shows 300-m lava fountain

The Kilauea volcano in Hawaii erupted for 43rd time since eruptions began in December 2024. A video showing lava fountains as high as 300 metres has surfaced. Falling volcanic fragments and ash have prompted temporary closures at the national park around the summit and a partial closure of a key highway. It remains unclear how long the eruptions will last.
