Killers often cut themselves while stabbing: Death investigator

Former NYC death investigator Barbara Butcher said on the podcast that while stabbing, the knife sometimes hits bone and cuts the killer's hand. They then wash it off. "But you're going to leave one little drop of blood on the floor," she said. "I have to go throughout the house," Butcher added, explaining why she never stops at the body.
