Kishan opens with Abhishek in T20 World Cup warm-up match, Samson demoted

Wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan is opening the batting with Abhishek Sharma in India's T20 World Cup 2026 warm-up match against South Africa in Navi Mumbai. India have demoted Sanju Samson, who opened the batting in India's previous T20I series against New Zealand. Kishan slammed two sixes in the first over of the warm-up match.
