Kishtwar bans fake news, provocative content for 2 months

Kishtwar District Magistrate Pankaj Kumar Sharma has issued a two-month order under BNSS Section 163, prohibiting fake news, manipulated content, and provocative social media posts. It applies to individuals, influencers, news portals, and platform admins. Legitimate journalism and lawful dissent remain exempt. SSP Sunny Gupta will enforce the order and violations will invite action under BNS.
