KM Mani, Kerala's longest serving MLA, dies aged 86

Kerala Congress (M) chief KM Mani, former Kerala Finance Minister and the longest serving member of Kerala Legislative Assembly, died aged 86 on Tuesday after suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease for 17 years. Mani represented the constituency of Pala from 1965, becoming the only politician to be elected from the same constituency for 13 consecutive elections.
