Kochi Airport closed till Aug 18 amid floods across Kerala

Kerala's Kochi Airport has suspended operations till 2 pm on Saturday reportedly after its runway and area surrounding the airport were flooded due to heavy rainfall. "We are working hard to drain out the storm water," officials said. Earlier, the authorities had suspended flights till 2 pm on Wednesday, but it was revised in view of the rain forecast.
