Kodagu bans heavy vehicles during monsoon from June 10 to July 9

Kodagu district has imposed a temporary ban on the movement of heavy vehicles from June 10 to July 9 as a precaution against monsoon-related risks. Authorities cited rising river levels, landslide threats and road safety concerns. The restrictions apply to trucks carrying timber and sand, along with other heavy vehicles. Essential services, including fuel tankers, milk vans and buses, are exempt.
