Kohl's fires CEO Ashley Buchanan for directing millions to romantic partner

American department store retail chain Kohl's has fired CEO Ashley Buchanan after a probe uncovered that he tried to direct the company's business worth millions of dollars to his romantic partner. Ashley had a conflict of interest in a multimillion-dollar deal involving Chandra Holt, the probe found. The transaction included "highly unusual terms favourable to the vendor," the company said.
