Former India strength and conditioning coach Shanker Basu said Virat Kohli was the first cricketer who decided to train like an Olympic athlete. "He didn't want to train with oft-repeated methods; he wanted to do something different," he stated. Basu added, "Kohli will have a lot of questions initially, and once he is convinced, he will go in that direction."
