Kohli becomes 2nd highest run-scorer in international cricket, now only behind Sachin

Ex-India captain Virat Kohli has become the second highest run-scorer in international cricket. He overtook former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara's tally of 28,016 runs after crossing the 41-run mark in the first ODI against New Zealand in Vadodara. Prior to the match, Kohli had aggregated 27,975 runs in international cricket. Kohli is now only behind Sachin Tendulkar (34,357 runs).
