Kolaramma Temple to adorn 10,108 lotuses for special puja

Kolaramma Temple in Karnataka’s Kolar will hold a special Swarna Kamala decoration on September 11, using 10,108 red lotus buds flown in from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The decoration marks the last Amavasya of the Shravana month. Devotees are also hoping the special worship brings rain to the drought-hit region.
