Kolkata college student declines IIM MBA to grow her bakery brand

Kolkata-based entrepreneur Megha Sarayan turned down an IIM Kozhikode MBA admission in 2021 to grow her bakery startup, Land Of Cakes. What began in 2018 as a small venture from her kitchen is now a ₹2 crore revenue brand. Overcoming challenges, including the COVID-19 crisis, Megha has expanded operations and recently secured ₹72 lakhs in funding for future growth.
