Kolkata doctors remove toy magnet lodged in 6-year-old's lung
Doctors at Kolkata's Medical College and Hospital saved a six-year-old boy after a toy magnet became lodged in his right bronchus. The team developed a tiny 3-mm magnet to retrieve the larger object. After an initial unsuccessful attempt, doctors removed it through a tracheostomy. The child is recovering in the paediatric ICU.
