Kolkata begins preparations for Kali Puja celebrations on November 8

Preparations for Kali Puja celebrations are in full swing across West Bengal ahead of November 8. Kolkata's Salt Lake GC Block has unveiled a 30-foot Maa Kali idol, the tallest in the township. In an unusual sight, a Maa Kali idol was transported on a Sealdah-bound local train from Shantipur, Nadia district, to a Kolkata pandal.
