The country's first hospital to treat fish abnormality and diseases is set to come up in Kolkata by mid-2015, said senior scientist TJ Abraham. Abraham, who is heading the project, said, "Such hospitals are quite common in foreign countries". Besides helping fish farmers to increase yield, the institute will also ensure that people consume healthy fish, he added.
