Kolkata launches crackdown on illegal constructions

Kolkata Municipal Corporation has started a major crackdown on illegal constructions following a High Court order. Bulldozers were deployed in Tiljala, Kasba, and Beliaghata to demolish unauthorized buildings. Central forces and police have been stationed to maintain security. Officials said the drive follows a zero-tolerance policy and similar actions will continue across the city.
