Kolkata Metro to operate 22 more trains on Joka-Majerhat route

Kolkata Metro will operate 22 additional trains on the Joka-Majerhat section of the Purple Line daily from May 5. Metro authorities announced that the number of trains on this line will be increased from 18 to 40. Furthermore, they will also bring down the interval between two services from 50 minutes to 22 minutes.
