Kolkata most affordable major city for home buyers in India

Home affordability in India is expected to improve over next 12 months, with Kolkata maintaining its position as most affordable major city, JLL Home Purchase Affordability Index showed. Mumbai & Pune are expected to approach optimal affordability levels by 2025. Other cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi-NCR will see gradual affordability improvements, though they'll remain below peak levels.
