Kolkata Port to suspend shipping movements in view of Cyclone Yaas

Kolkata Port will suspend all shipping movements from Tuesday in view of Cyclone Yaas, Kolkata Port Trust Chairman Vinit Kumar said. He added the decision was taken as a precautionary measure as the cyclone is likely to make landfall near Odisha's Balasore along the West Bengal border on Wednesday. Movement of vehicles carrying goods will be stopped at 6 pm.
