Kolkata recorded least number of sexual assault cases among metros: NCRB

Out of the 19 metro cities in India, Kolkata has recorded the least number of sexual assault cases on women, the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data revealed. According to the NCRB report, 14 cases of sexual assaults were registered in the city in 2019. Moreover, the city has also not recorded any attempt to rape or sexual harassment case.
