Kolkata's Vidyasagar Setu to remain shut for 8 hours on June 14

Traffic movement on Vidyasagar Setu in Kolkata, one of India's longest cable-stayed bridges, will remain closed for eight hours from 6 am to 2 pm on Sunday, June 14, due to maintenance work. Authorities have advised commuters to use alternative routes to avoid congestion. The bridge carries the Kona Expressway (NH 117) and connects Howrah with Kolkata.
