Kolkata to host International Yoga Day 2026 main event

At Yoga Mahotsav 2026 in Khajuraho, Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav announced that Kolkata will host the main International Yoga Day 2026 event on June 21. The theme 'Yoga is for Healthy Ageing' highlights yoga for physical fitness, mental balance, and holistic wellbeing. The event aims to promote wider adoption of yoga in daily life across communities.
