Kosovo Prez charged with crimes committed during 1998-99 Serbia war

The Hague-based special prosecutor probing crimes during and after Kosovo's 1998-99 war with Serbia has indicted Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and nine former militants for war crimes. They've also been charged with enforced disappearance, persecution and torture. They are "responsible for nearly 100 murders", the prosecutor said. Thaci commanded Kosovo Liberation Army fighters during the war.
