Kotak Mahindra Bank files police complaint in ₹160-cr FD fraud

Kotak Mahindra Bank filed a police complaint after Panchkula Municipal Corporation flagged discrepancies in fixed deposit receipts held with the bank. The Haryana-based corporation found ₹160-crore discrepancies. The bank said it has initiated a detailed reconciliation exercise and is cooperating with all authorities. "A significant portion of amounts under review has…been reconciled," bank said.
