Kozhikode man held for trying to assault 13-year-old girl

A 48-year-old man, Viju, was arrested in Kerala's Kozhikode for allegedly attempting to assault a 13-year-old girl. Police said he entered her house in Manassery after learning that her mother was away. The girl screamed, forcing him to flee. Mukkam police later arrested him from Alinchuvadu and produced him before a Thamarassery court, where he was remanded to custody.
