Kozhikode startup builds AI robot for safe coconut harvesting

Altersage Innovations, a Kozhikode startup, has developed Coco-bot, a 10-kg AI-powered coconut harvesting robot. Founded by Ashin P Krishna, the semi-automatic robot addresses the shortage of skilled climbers, enabling safer and efficient harvesting. Supported by Kerala Startup Mission and NABARD, Coco-bot has attracted industry interest, including from Marico Ltd.
