KSRTC to install VLTDs in all buses for real-time tracking

KSRTC is installing Vehicle Location Tracking Devices (VLTDs) in all its buses following a Central Government directive. Of its 6,087 buses, 2,344 already have the devices, while 3,743 are yet to be equipped. A dedicated command centre is also being established to monitor the fleet and provide commuters with real-time information on bus locations, routes and arrivals.
