K'taka govt decision to build Mekedatu dam condemnable: AIADMK

AIADMK leader K Palaniswami on Saturday condemned Karnataka government's decision to proceed with Mekedatu dam project across river Cauvery. "The unilateral announcement of Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa to go ahead with the construction of Mekedatu dam, especially when a contempt of court case is pending in the Supreme Court, is highly condemnable," said Palaniswami.
