Kuki MLAs rule out govt formation without UT assurance in Manipur

For legislators joining formation of a new elected government in Manipur, Kuki MLAs said they will not participate unless a written, constitutional and time-bound assurance is given for a separate Union Territory for Kuki-Zo communities. At a meeting held in Guwahati on Tuesday, Kuki MLAs met representatives of Suspension of Operations (SoO) groups and leaders of the Kuki-Zo Council (KZC).
