Angry locals pelted eggs at Lekha Mary when police brought her to Kundara for evidence collection in her husband Raju's murder case. She allegedly killed him by tightening a belt around his neck over a property dispute. Raju was found unconscious on October 2 and later died. A post-mortem confirmed murder, following which Lekha Mary confessed to the crime.
