Kunnamkulam temple plans new idol after stolen one damaged

The Kunnamkulam Makkalikkavu Devi Temple committee plans to install a new panchaloha idol after the stolen idol recovered by police suffered heavy damage. The thief allegedly uprooted it from its Ashtabandham base, damaging its legs and other parts. The court currently has custody of the idol, while the committee plans a re-installation ceremony after legal formalities.
