Youth fined ₹40,000 for modified bike silencer making gunshot sounds

Kurukshetra police issued a ₹40,000 challan to a Pratapargh village youth and impounded his Bullet motorcycle for using a modified silencer that produced gunshot-like sounds. Police said such modifications cause panic among motorists, endanger road safety, and disturb the elderly, children, and patients. SP warned illegal modifications will not be tolerated.
