Kusha Kapila roast: 'Mocking divorce for comedy is not funny'

Recently, Kusha Kapila clarified her participation in Ashish Solanki's Roast Show. In her statement online, Kusha says she 'begged' showrunners to discard comedian Samay Raina's roast 'dehumanising' her from the final airing, and was told that she should have expected these as she is a divorcee. "Using misogyny to be 'funny' should be emphatically called out," wrote a journalist.
