Kushagra Rawat secures 1500m gold at South Africa Aquatics Meet

Freestyle swimmer Kushagra Rawat secured the first medal for India at the South Africa Aquatics meet in Newton Park Swimming Pool, Gqeberha, South Africa on Monday. He clocked a time of 15:41:61 to win the gold medal in the men's 1500m freestyle event. He was eight seconds ahead of the second-placed Matthew Caldwell of South Africa.
