Kushinagar Int'l Airport has longest runway in UP, can handle 8 flights an hour

The Kushinagar International Airport inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday has the longest runway in Uttar Pradesh with a length of 3.2 km and a width of 45 metres. Built at an estimated cost of ₹260 crore, it can handle eight flights every hour (four arrivals and four departures). The airport's peak passenger capacity is 300 passengers per hour.
