Kuwait encourages its citizens to leave UK over Omicron fears

The Kuwaiti embassy in the UK has encouraged its citizens to leave the country due to a "significant and unprecedented" increase in Omicron cases there, the state news agency reported on Sunday. The embassy also urged Kuwaiti citizens to postpone their visits to the country. The UK reported 1,37,583 coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours on Sunday.
