Kuwait mandates military service for men aged 18 and above

Kuwait has made military service compulsory for men aged 18 and above, under a revised law. Applicable to those born from 2012 onwards, the changes aim to fix gaps in earlier rules. The law extends the registration period, allows some exemptions and ensures salaries during service, while improving efficiency in recruitment and deployment.
