Kuwait to deport 60 expats, including Indians, for illegal taxi row: Reports

Kuwait will reportedly deport 60 expatriates who were caught using their personal cars instead of taxis to ferry passengers to and from the airport. The violators, who are of Indian, Bangladeshi and Egyptian origin, have reportedly been referred to the deportation prison. The matter reportedly came to light after passengers complained of theft and extortion from violating drivers to authorities.
