Kyrgios moves into US Open 2nd round after win over compatriot Kokkinakis

Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios has entered the second round of the ongoing US Open after win over compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis. The 27-year-old won with a scoreline of 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4). Notably, Kyrgios had earlier said that he would welcome an early exit from the US Open as he is "exhausted" after playing Wimbledon and wants to go home.
