L&T appoints ex Infy executive as CEO of IT unit

Engineering conglomerate Larsen and Toubro has announced appointing Sanjay Jalona as the CEO and Managing Director of its IT arm, L&T Infotech. Jalona previously worked at tech company Infosys as the Executive Vice President and Global Head of High-Tech Manufacturing and Engineering Services. L&T Infotech is preparing for its stock exchange listing and has based Jalona in Edison, New Jersey.
