French cosmetics giant L'Oréal said on Thursday it will acquire a majority stake in Indian personal care startup Innovist, which owns brands including Bare Anatomy, Chemist at Play, Sunscoop and Vinci Botanicals. L'Oréal will also get rights to buy out remaining minority shareholders. The transaction is expected to close in the next few months after regulatory approvals, the company added.
