L’Oréal sued over hair relaxers allegedly linked to cancer in women
Arizona Attorney General Kristin Mayes has sued L’Oréal, alleging the cosmetics giant concealed evidence that its chemical hair relaxers may cause cancer in women. It accused L’Oréal USA, its parent company and SoftSheen of advertising and selling relaxers without disclosing their potential links to cancer, including ovarian and uterine cancers. It is seeking penalties and damages in the case.
