L&T partners with Exail to provide Indian Navy with mine warfare systems

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has partnered with France-based Exail to offer an advanced unmanned mine counter-measure (MCM) suite for the Indian Navy. These autonomous and remotely controlled systems will detect, classify and neutralise naval mines safely from a stand-off distance. L&T will be the prime contractor and will offer the suite for the Navy's planned fleet of 12 MCM vessels.
