Labour MP probed for liking 'transphobic, homophobic' tweet by US rapper
Labour is investigating Canterbury MP Rosie Duffield for liking US gay rapper Kurtis Tripp's tweet that said trans people are mostly heterosexuals cosplaying as the opposite sex and as gay. Tripp was talking about trans people reclaiming word "queer" and "colonising gay culture". LGBT+ Labour said Duffield endorsed "homophobic and transphobic comments" and should lose her whip and be suspended.
