Labourer couple win ₹1.5 crore lottery in Punjab, go into hiding fearing robbery

A daily-wage worker couple in Punjab's Faridkot won first prize of ₹1.5 crore in Punjab State Lottery and then went into hiding, fearing robbery or extortion threats. Naseeb Kaur and her husband hit the jackpot on the ₹200 ticket, but soon after winning, they grew anxious. They locked their home, switched off their phones, and moved to a secret location.
